 | About MeJomar Fleras is an international Spa Development Consultant. He is the President and CEO of Sanctuario Spa and president of the Philippine Spa and Wellness Association. He was a board member for two years of the Asia Pacific Spa and Wellness Coalition. In 2007, 2008 and 2009, Jomar was nominated as Spa Personality of the Year by Asia Spa Magazine. In 2007, Fleras was given a Presidential Award as Tourism Entrepreneur of the Year by Philippine President Gloria Arroyo. In 2008 he was named by Spa Business Magazine as one of the movers and shakers of the global spa industry. In 2010, he was named as one of the Top 7 spa gurus in Asia by Asia Spa Magazine.He has set up salon and spas in resorts and hotels in the Philippines and Qatar. From 2008 to 2010, Jomar Fleras managed a project funded by the European Union to provide capacity building to spas in the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Jomar Fleras has studied at the Harvard School of Public Health, the University of Southern California, University of Hawaii, Curtin University (Perth, Australia) and the University of the Philippines. He is a CIBTAC-licensed therapist, a Reiki Master and an alternative healer.
